Garth Wolff, founder and CEO, created a unique travel business model in May 1999. His vision was to empower the travel industry’s best consultants, enabling them to maximise their potential and start their own travel companies with the support, systems, IATA license and expertise of eTravel.
Garth believes that the quality of a travel booking, holiday or business trip is the direct result of the individual travel consultant responsible and has little to do with the company for which they may work. Good travel consultants with the sufficient skills and experience will always save time, large sums of money and offer serious value because they know and care about what they are doing.
Today many of SA’s best travel consultants have joined eTravel and the company has more than 150 affiliated Independent Travel Companies (ITCs) around the country. eTravel support offices can be found in Johannesburg (Hyde Park) and Cape Town (Century City). The group has grown to become one of the largest independently owned travel companies in South Africa with an annual turnover and market share that ensures a buying power large enough to have access to the best rates, commissions, overrides and preferred supplier relationships.
The company’s management and their teams are passionate about travel and continue to find ways of improving the lives of those in travel and those who will be touched by it.
