Founder and CEO eTravel Group
A natural leader best suited to running his own business, Garth was the pioneer of the Independent Travel Company model in South Africa. His inspired and organised leadership has ensured the company remains the largest and most successful in its field empowering over 200 ITC’s (Independent Travel Companies).
His promise to the group is to keep eTravel a privately owned company allowing for flexibility and uniqueness in the model and is 100% dedicated to this vision. His core values revolve around the people that make eTravel what it is today. He is a goal setter and go getter who believes that ‘If you don’t make a difference in this world then you don’t matter”.
When Garth is not working he indulges in his passion for flying his Cessna 182 to various bushveld destinations as he has a true love for both flying and the bush! He also loves sun and sea destinations hence is an avid fan of what South Africa has to offer.
“Given the current challenges in SA we still live in the best country in the world so we all need to play our part, remain positive and make a difference to those less fortunate around us! We also need to be very aware of the pressures on wildlife so that we can plough some of our profits back into wildlife to ensure that our grandchildren can see the beauty which we take for granted daily!”
Finance Director
I joined the eTravel family in October 2012 as the Management Accountant – previously I was employed by Roelcor Meat Wholesalers and also spent 2 years abroad working for a German oil trading company based in London.
I enjoy being outdoors and playing sports as well as spending quality time with my wife, son, friends and extended family.
I have a young son who keeps us busy, humble and allows me to have a balanced life between working hard and enjoying the important things outside of the professional world!
Travel is a major passion of mine – I love spending time in the “bush” and experiencing different cultures & places.
My top destinations visited are the Kruger, Kgalagadi, Mauritius and Amsterdam – the next adventure hopefully Botswana!
Operations Manager
Lara is passionate about building strong relationships, developing people, and creating operational excellence across the business.
Lara supports our Independent Travel Consultants (ITCs), helping them grow their businesses through collaboration, training, and ongoing operational support. She also works closely with our Fares, processing and PTC Team driving process improvements and implementing innovative solutions that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
As part of eTravel’s leadership team, Lara collaborates with suppliers, contributes to strategic operational initiatives, and champions projects that strengthen both the business and the experience of our ITCs. She believes in leading with empathy, open communication, and a hands-on approach, empowering those around her to succeed while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
Outside of work, Lara has been happily married to her husband, Andrew, for many years. Together they have two adult sons, Adam and Matthew, who remain at the heart of everything they do. Family time is incredibly important to Lara, whether it’s spending quality time together, exploring the outdoors on hikes and long walks, or baking delicious treats for her boys. She believes that the same care, dedication, and sense of community she enjoys at home are values she brings into her professional life every day.”
Managing Director
My eTravel journey began as an Independent Travel Company (ITC) in 2001, giving me the unique privilege of experiencing our business from both sides of the partnership. Having walked in the shoes of an ITC before joining the Head Office team, I understand first-hand the opportunities, challenges and support our members need to build successful businesses.
Over the years, I have been fortunate to grow within eTravel from the operations team through to Managing Director. While my responsibilities have certainly evolved, one thing has never changed—my passion for the people who make up the eTravel family.
For me, eTravel has never been just a business. It’s my happy place. It’s where I feel I belong. Our incredible staff, our Independent Travel Companies and our Preferred Partners each play a vital role in creating the supportive, relationship-driven ecosystem that makes eTravel so special. Watching those relationships grow and seeing our members succeed is undoubtedly the most rewarding part of what I do.
Outside of work, my greatest joy is my family. I’m married to my wonderful suportive husband, Scarbra, and together we’re raising two beautiful teenage daughters, Tyler and Olivia. Much of my spare time is spent proudly cheering from the side of a netball court or an athletics track, supporting whatever challenge they’ve set their hearts on next. And whenever we have the chance to escape, you’ll usually find us somewhere with sunshine, the sea, and plenty of fresh air.
I firmly believe that businesses are built on relationships, trust and genuinely caring about people. Those values are at the heart of everything we do at eTravel, and it’s an absolute privilege to lead a company that feels less like a workplace and more like family.
Operations Director
Following in the footsteps of his father, Garth Wolff, Trent combines eTravel’s strong family values with a practical, forward-thinking approach to business.
As Operations Director, Trent oversees key operational initiatives and is leading the development of eTravelNAV, helping drive innovation and support the company’s continued growth.
Outside of work, Trent is a passionate endurance runner, having completed multiple Comrades Marathons and numerous other races.
He also enjoys rugby, the outdoors, and exploring Southern Africa with his wife, Ali.
As eTravel continues to grow, Trent remains committed to building on the company’s strong foundations while embracing new opportunities for the future.
eHolidays Manager
I started my travel career in 2001 and joined eHolidays in 2009. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with an incredible team while supporting our ITCs and IWCs.
As eHolidays Manager, I’m passionate about providing exceptional service, building strong relationships, and supporting and developing my team.
I also assist with reservations for Leopard’s Bend Bush Lodge, combining my role with my love of the African bush.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exploring the outdoors with my dog, or travelling whenever the opportunity arises.
